Rewind to 2014 where Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook acquired Oculus VR technology for $2 billion. One lightning fast year later, 360 videos are a prominent feature for Facebook and YouTube, and 5 million Google Cardboard headsets are shipped around the world. It was officially official: virtual reality was relevant to not only tech incubators and investors, but industry, marketers and social media.
As virtual reality continues to rage on with developments in devices, apps, recording technology and marketing campaigns, the medium has re-written the rules around designing, directing, editing and consuming content.
This workshop will immerse you in the medium, eliminate the confusion and inspire you with possibility around 360 technology, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) and machine learning, and most importantly, how can you be part of it.
